Bestec Wall
An installation screen for one of Adelaide's largest engineering firms, Bestec. Built as a partition between the main office and entry thoroughfare, the concept focuses around the companies business axiom 'bringing buildings to life'. Beginning two-dimensionally, the wall gradually builds into a layered three-dimensional form.
The design is a result of abstracting ideas associated with the human influence on engineering projects. The undulated layers create a crescendo of movement alluding to the idea that each individual at Bestec adds an element to every project. Symbolised by the turbulence of each layer, the end of the wall has stronger undulations reflecting the culmination of a project and the fruition of 'bringing a building to life'.
